one of the biggest advantages to having
your own youtube channel is the ability
to review various products and today we
got our hands on two great accessories
for the playstation 5. the first
accessory is the pulse 3d wireless
headset and the second accessory is a
charging station for your ps5
controllers now both of these
accessories are from playstation and
because they are official playstation
accessories they do come with a premium
price so we're going to unbox both of
these accessories then we're going to
set them up test them and then review
them this is the sony pulse 3d wireless
headset in midnight black it weighs in
at 295 grams and is compatible with the
ps5 ps4 pc and psvr and if you can find
it in stock it will set you back around
100
the first thing that i noticed is the
head adjustment that's made of flexible
rubber definitely unusual as far as this
looked in midnight black i do like this
although i do like the white as well
with the black so you get the both both
tones but i think the midnight black is
pretty sleek it's got that matte finish
it's not slick
so you won't get the fingerprints all
over it and it won't show a lot of dust
and dirt the adjustment is this rubber
adjustment it's kind of unique i like
that it does move up a little bit not a
lot though but i think it'll fit most
size heads unless you've got a massive
head i've got a large head and it fits
it fits well
real well i've owned many different
headsets and none of those headsets
looked like this or felt like this these
are original that's for sure
a plus for originality comfort is really
good earpiece feels really good the ear
cushions are soft but they also have
some firmness to them
when you put the headphones on you
definitely can't hear any other outside
noise
so that's noise canceling for sure
so the left earpiece contains all the
controls and the connections at the top
there's a hole which is a microphone
there's also a game and chat button a
monitor button and volume up and down a
mute button usb type c and audio input
the headset's power button in the tiny
hole is a microphone they feel
comfortable i do like the fact that all
the controls are on one side so you're
not trying to figure out where the
controls are sometimes when you have
headphones that have controls on both
sides you kind of forget where they are
at so you're fumbling around
but here on the left side
right here everything from
muting
up and down
game chat the battery life for this
headset is only 12 hours and i was
definitely expecting more from sony at
this price point connecting the headset
to the ps5 is super easy plug in the usb
dongle on any of the usb ports on the
ps5 you have to go into the audio
settings of the ps5 to put the ps5 into
headset mode you can also enable the
headset to connect on startup and you
can also adjust 3d audio settings but
the most important feature of this
headset is the quality of the sound and
when testing any headset it's important
to test it under different circumstances
so we're going to play a few different
games but first let's go ahead and set
up the controller charging station this
playstation 5 accessory is super easy to
set up plug in the power place the
charging station on a flat surface then
place the ps5 controllers into the
charging station you want to make sure
the controller sits all the way down
into the charging station a light on the
ps5 controller will indicate that it's
charging and there's not much to review
about this charging station this
accessory does look good it matches the
ps5 perfectly and it charges the
controllers
now as far as the microphone quality
it's not great
i would give it about average on the
microphone quality
but the sound in here is amazing
it's just it gives you that 3d sound
when i play gran turismo and i'm driving
through a puddle on the left side of the
car the left side here you hear the po
only on the left side it's really cool
same when you crash to the right you'll
only hear that crash part on the right
side so you get that full 3d immersion
i'm going to give these headphones a 9
out of 10 only because of the 12 hour
battery life many other headphones have
a longer battery life and i think sony
could have done a better job with that
especially at the 99 price point other
than that they look great they feel
great and most importantly they sound
great

to find these accessories right now and
believe it or not when we found this one
it was the last one on the shelf anyways
