After a month of use, the Fire Sense patio heater performed well in backyard settings. It provides adequate warmth, has a sturdy build, and looks sleek on the patio. The only downside is the somewhat challenging assembly process due to tight parts and unclear alignments.

If you’re comfortable with basic tools and want a quality patio heater under $130, this model is worth considering.

Hi everybody! Welcome back to the Ultimate Tech Hub. Today we're going to unbox, assemble, test, and review this outdoor commercial patio heater from Fire Sense.

This patio heater provides 46,000 BTUs and uses a standard 20-pound propane tank. You can expect around 10 hours of heat per tank. It includes a piezo ignition system and wheels for easy mobility.

What’s inside the box? You’ll find the base, support posts, reflector panels, upper/lower post, tank housing, head assembly, and all the necessary hardware—including a wrench and wheel assembly.

After laying out all parts, we began assembly by attaching the wheel kit to the base and filling it with water. This provides needed weight to keep the heater stable outdoors.

Next, we assembled the post structure, attached the tank housing, and worked on the head assembly. This part was challenging—two of the reflector studs were difficult to screw in. We used WD-40, pliers, and eventually vice grips to get the job done.

We also had some difficulty feeding the hose through the post and aligning screw holes between the head and upper post. Patience was key. Once in place, we added the reflectors using nine screws and nuts. Be prepared: removing the protective plastic from the panels is time-consuming.

We secured the reflectors using washers and wing nuts, then attached the regulator and connected the propane tank. Before the first ignition, hold down the gas button for two minutes to clear air from the hose. Then turn the dial and press the red igniter button—done!

Final Review: The heater works great. It’s warm, durable, and good-looking. The only negative was the frustrating assembly. But for under $130, this heater is worth it—if you don’t mind a little elbow grease.
