What is a travel router? It's a portable device that creates a secure and private Wi-Fi network wherever you go. Ideal for hotels, cruise ships, airports, or cafes.

To set it up:

  1. Plug in the power.
  2. Find the SSID, password, and IP address on the bottom.
  3. Connect your mobile device to the SSID using the password.
  4. Type the IP address in your browser to access the router dashboard.
  5. Set the language and change the admin password.
  6. Select the Repeater mode to connect to existing Wi-Fi (great for hotels and cruises).

In Repeater mode, you'll be redirected to the captive portal where you input room or cabin info to authenticate. Once done, the router provides stable internet to up to 52 devices. Make sure it stays powered to avoid interruption.

It supports dual bands—2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. For streaming, use 5 GHz. For better range, stick to 2.4 GHz. Enabling 20 MHz band can triple your speeds.

The router also supports VPN services like NordVPN for secure browsing. If you travel often, this travel router is a must-have. Links to the router and other favorites are in the description.
