Let's begin with the unboxing. The mouse comes well-packaged and includes six adjustable weights, two custom hand grips (one smooth and one with a finger shelf), brand stickers, and a Quick Start Guide.

The V560 features a bold red-and-black design and feels solidly built. You can adjust the weight by inserting up to six weights to achieve your preferred balance—light, heavy, or somewhere in between. I personally added all six weights for a heavier feel.

As for the grips, I preferred the smooth one due to my larger hands. The grip with a ridge seems better suited for smaller hands, like those of children or young teens.

The mouse includes a 12,000 DPI laser sensor and five glide sliders for smooth movement. Setup is simple—plug in the USB connector, visit Patriot’s website, download the software, extract the zip file, and install.

The customization console allows for five user profiles, various RGB color options, and nine programmable buttons plus a scroll button. It’s intuitive and easy to use. You can also change RGB lighting on-the-fly using the mode button on top of the mouse. I chose a blue tone that matched my setup.

Time for some gameplay testing with Modern Combat 5. The response time was noticeably quicker than my wireless mouse. The buttons were highly sensitive, and overall tracking was very fast—almost too fast initially, but I quickly adjusted.
