speed

awesome so guys i'm going to show you
how to change one setting to block
malware adult websites and maybe even
improve your internet speed now this
setting can be changed on your computer
or on your router if you change the
setting on your router your whole
network is protected however if you
don't have access to your router you can
change this on your computer to protect
your computer and today i'll show you
how to do both but this one setting
change should be done in your router if
at all possible so without further ado
let's get started and don't forget hit
subscribe
it's free

alright guys let's get started
this is cloudflare dns
cloudflare dns was launched in 2018.
cloudflare's public dns resolver is the
following 1.1.1.1
and it's 100 free
however cloudflare has updated their dns
and these are the two additional dns
options
you have malware blocking only
and malware blocking and adult content
blocking
and i'll show you both
for the malware blocking only
these are the dns numbers you're going
to put in to your router
primary 1.1.1.2
secondary 1.0.0.2
for malware and adult content blocking
primaries 1.1.1.3
secondary is 1.0.0.3
and if you have young kids or teenagers
i highly recommend you block the malware
and adult content
so first thing you want to do is go to
your router settings
and once you're in your router settings
you want to go to your connectivity tab
and look for local network
we're going to change static dns 1 and
static dns 2.
we're going to input the malware and
adult content blocking dns numbers
1.1.1.3
and 1.0.0.3
so once you input these numbers into
your router
you want to hit apply
and one more possible benefit to
changing his dns numbers
is that it may increase your internet
speed
and just a heads up
this settings change will not make your
internet faster than your isp speed
and that's the facts
however if you're getting slower speeds
than your max isp speed
this settings change could help
it's not always guaranteed but it could
help
okay so what if you don't have access to
your router settings then what do you do
well go to your computer
and go to your network adapter settings
go to your ivp4 settings
and here look for your dns settings
[Music]
and once again primary dns 1.1.1.3
secondary dns 1.0.0.3
this blocks all malware and adult
content for this computer but not for
the network
like i said before i recommend changing
the router settings
this protects your entire network
and can possibly increase your internet
speed
so once your settings are all changed
we're going to type in a popular adult
website and see if it's blocked
and lo and behold it's blocked
awesome
so guys if you have any questions about
the cloud fair dns
i recommend the cloudflare blog
this web page is chock full of
information and i'll have a link in the
description below for this webpage
so guys if you have any questions about
this privacyfirst dns resolver
feel free to ask in the comments below i
answer all questions once again i
recommend doing the adult content and
the malware blocking at the same time
it's really the best solution
and guys if you found this video helpful
please give a thumbs up and share it
once again guys thank you for watching
you guys are awesome
and we'll see you in the next video real
soon
peace
