Installing and Testing the Kytek Spoke Lights

The video demonstrates step-by-step installation for both front and back tires using the Kytek LED spoke light kit. Here’s what you need to know:

Once installed, the lights provide a glowing effect on the wheels, and the waterproof design ensures reliability even in wet conditions. At just $19.97, it's a fun and safe bike upgrade. The video concludes with nighttime riding footage and a final recommendation: thumbs up!

Hi everyone, and welcome to another video from The Ultimate Tech Hub. In today’s video, we take a look at color-changing bicycle spoke lights from a company called Kytek. These spoke lights feature seven customizable color settings, and the box includes two sets—one for the front tire and one for the back.

Inside the kit, you’ll find the two light sets, zip ties, spoke clips, two foam pads, and an instruction manual. Please note: batteries are not included. You’ll need six AA batteries in total.

To install the batteries, follow the instructions, and once installed, a long press powers the lights on, while short presses cycle through the different light modes.

To install the lights, first flip the bike upside down—it makes things easier. Mount the lights inside the spoke wheels using the zip ties. Attach the foam pad to the bottom of the light for better grip, then use the zip ties to fasten the lights to the spokes. The first zip tie can be tricky to secure, but once it's in place, the second one is easier. Pull them tight and cut the excess.

Test each light again before stringing the wire. Now it’s time to weave the light string through the spokes. Begin at the tire valve and weave the wire in and out through the spokes, using the clips provided. If you skip spokes or don’t use enough clips, the lights may sag and look uneven. Use as many clips as needed—the kit includes plenty.

Once you reach the end of the wire, tie it off and add an extra clip if necessary. Repeat the same steps for the rear tire.

Once both lights are installed, it’s time to test them at night. The lights include several modes, including blinking color-changing, solid colors, and flashing patterns. They’re also waterproof, which is great for all weather riding.

As for the final review: we recommend these lights. They offer great value at $19.97, are easy to install, and add both style and visibility to your bike. A purchase link is in the video description.
