If you're searching for a budget-friendly and effective solar lighting solution, the Lightum Solar Landscape Light Kit could be the perfect choice. In this review, we unbox, install, and test these durable lights in multiple outdoor locations to see how well they perform. With four lighting modes, weather resistance, and an easy setup process, this two-piece kit delivers solid value for under $31.
Inside the Lightum solar light kit, you’ll find:
These lights are designed for outdoor use and are:
Each light includes a mode button on the back. Pressing it cycles through the following options:
| Mode | Light Type | Brightness |
|---|---|---|
| Mode 1 | White Light | Low (Dim) |
| Mode 2 | White Light | High (Bright) |
| Mode 3 | Warm Light | Low (Dim) |
| Mode 4 | Warm Light | High (Bright) |
1. Backyard Retaining Wall: Lights placed on the top corners of a 75-foot wall were not strong enough to illuminate the full length, even at the brightest setting.
2. Lower Retaining Wall: Lights placed in the corners using Mode 4 (High Warm Light) matched existing landscape lighting and created a consistent glow.
3. RV Gate (Final Placement): This dark front yard area was ideal. The lights added both security and aesthetics, and Mode 4 provided a pleasant warm glow that matched other fixtures.
If you're looking for an easy-to-install, weatherproof solar light kit with multiple lighting modes, the Lightum Solar Landscape Lights are a solid option. A link to purchase can be found in the video description. Thanks again to Lightum for providing these lights for review!
Hi everyone! On today's episode, we're unboxing and reviewing solar landscape lights from Lightum—coming up next on the Ultimate Tech Hub.
This is a two-piece, 30-LED solar landscape light kit. The lights are waterproof, heat-resistant, and frost-resistant. During the day, they charge via the built-in solar panel and automatically light up at night based on ambient brightness.
What makes this kit stand out is its four different light modes. Inside the box, you’ll find:
Setup is simple: attach the stake to the light, then place it in the ground where desired. We tested these lights in three locations to assess brightness and coverage.
On the back of each light is a mode button. Press it to cycle through:
We recommend leaving the lights off for one to two days to allow for a full charge. In our desert climate, they fully charged in less than a day.
Location 1: Top backyard retaining wall. While the lights added some visibility, they weren’t bright enough to fully illuminate the 75-foot wall.
Location 2: Lower retaining wall. We used Mode 4 to match existing landscape lights. The result was a much more effective lighting setup.
Location 3: RV gate in the front yard. We angled the lights at the gate using Mode 4. This location provided the best performance—constant sunlight keeps the batteries charged, and the lights enhance security and aesthetics.
We left the lights here permanently. The warm tone matches our front yard lights perfectly. And the four light modes let you easily match other lighting in your yard or patio.
Retailing for under $31, this light kit is a great value. Wall mounting is also an option using the provided screws and plugs, though we chose to use them on the ground only.
If you want a reliable, weather-resistant two-piece solar light kit with multiple brightness options, we highly recommend this Lightum set. Check the video description for purchase links. Thanks to Lightum for sending this kit for review—and thank you for watching!
