installing outdoor landscape lighting can make a huge difference to your front yard or backyard but installing landscape lights where there's no power can be difficult that's why today in this video we're going to install and test solar landscape lights from a company called XM cozy plus and this is a four-pack light set that we're going to install in our backyard on our top wall and this light set features three light modes is first it has an automatic on and off switch which means the lights turn on automatically at night and turn off during the day it also has a low brightness mode and a high brightness mode and the last button turns it off and the solar panel and the light can both be adjusted to a multitude of angles and variations and these lights are made with very thick plastic but once we get these lights installed we'll see how durable they are so we're going to go outside unbox it install it and set it up this model number is the XM gys W4 and this is a four-pack solar landscape light kit so you get four ground spikes four ground poles four suspended bubble light stakes and four lights with a connected solar panel this kit also includes mounting hardware so you can mount it to a wall these solar lights are very easy to set up attach the ground Spike to the ground pole and then attach the bubble light Stak to the pole and then attach the light to the bubble light Stak and then we'll do it three more times pretty easy and guys and gals don't forget to hit subscribe it's completely free thanks so now I'll show you the installation location we're we're going to install all four lights on this back wall and we'll evenly spread out all four lights and all four lights will go into the ground in front of the plants and bushes that way the light hits the back wall for my situation installing the lights was pretty easy I just push the steak into the ground and then cover the rocks at the top one down and three to go and you want to make sure the solar panel is at an angle where it faces the Sun but you don't want it to be flat because dirt will build up on the solar panel and then it can't charge the light the main reason we wanted lights on this wall was to Accent these plants in the back wall but we have no power up here so solar power lights are perfect once they're all installed we can let the sun charge all the lights and then tonight when the Sun goes down we can test out the light modes and once I see where the lights are shining we can then make some adjustments so we can adjust the angle of the light and then set the desired brightness and there we go that's perfect and that bubble steak is pretty freaking cool and very unique and here's how it looks after we got it all set up looks pretty freaking amazing that back wall was so dark before and now it's all lit up and I'm sure I'll make some adjustments over the next few weeks to get it just perfect but right now it looks great and one of the great things about these lights is that they're not permanent I can move them anywhere I want as long as they get some sun and at 59 $9.99 it's a great deal and this light set is not made of cheap material it's made of very thick plastic so this light set should last for years but only time will tell and I'll give you an update in around 6 or 8 months to let you know how they're doing so guys and gals if you need light for your front yard or backyard especially in an area with no power then these solar lights will do the job and all the XM cozy plus product links will be in the description below and with that guys make sure to like share subscribe and comment and for for God's sakes smash the Bell icon and I'll see you in the next video real soon high five peace
